Barry Seward is the founder and lead researcher at Political Jar, a digital platform dedicated to demystifying the U.S. political system. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Eastern Washington University and a background in community activism and journalism, Barry bridges the gap between complex legislative data and public understanding.

At Political Jar, Barry leads the development of data-driven resources, including the Congressional Voting Record database and in-depth analyses of political history and theory. His work focuses on making government transparency accessible to all citizens, moving beyond partisan talking points to focus on the mechanics of governance. When not analyzing Senate voting patterns, Barry creates the Adventures of PJ series to engage younger audiences in civics.
