Description
The teaching assignment includes 8 regular course sections (or their equivalent) during the academic year (4 sections each for fall and spring semesters). The selected candidate will teach undergraduate courses in political theory, American politics, and public law, and the normal teaching load will be four classes each semester (4-4). An established record of teaching excellence in these areas is highly desirable. This is a full-time, nine-month position, and the successful candidate will be eligible for annual reappointment. Lecturers at Clemson cannot advance to tenure, but they can pursue promotion along an academic professional track leading to the rank of Senior Lecturer and Principal Lecturer.
Qualifications
Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in political science or a related field by August 15, 2025.
