Assistant Professor of Political Science

Job Duties:

• The position is in
  International Relations, and candidates should have an interest in teaching International Relations and American Foreign
  Policy.
• Desirable candidates would also have the ability to teach the following: (1) research methods; (2) courses in a regional
  specialization, particularly Latin American, Asian, Middle Eastern, or African politics; and/or (3) courses on topics such as
  democratization, human rights, development, and war and peace.
• Candidates should be willing to teach one to two online courses per
  academic year.
• Summer teaching is optional and available depending on student demand.
• Other responsibilities include the
  following: student advising, research, service, internship supervision, and involvement in Political Science-related student activities.
  
• The position will also involve providing support for the Global Studies major.

Required Qualifications:

• The
  position is open to applicants who are either doctoral qualified or ABD in Political Science

Salary Range

Commensurate
with qualifications and experience.
