The Department of Political Science at Saint Louis
University seeks applicants for a tenure track position in American politics starting in August 2026. Research and teaching interests within
the field of Middle East politics are open. Previous teaching experience and a Ph.D. in Political Science are preferred, but ABD candidates
will be considered. The appointment will be at the level of Assistant Professor. The teaching assignment is 2/2. The department offers a BA
and MA and, in coordination with the Sociology/Anthropology department, a Ph.D. in Public and Social Policy. Members of underrepresented
groups in the Political Science discipline are particularly encouraged to apply.
