Position
Summary


The Business, Computing and Social Science Division of Delaware County Community College seeks an
Adjunct Political Science instructor to teach several courses.

Essential
Functions


Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Teach undergraduate
    courses in specific content areas as assigned by department chairpersons.
  • Prepares syllabi that meet department and college
    standards.
  • Prepares meaningful classroom experiences which include a variety of pedagogical strategies, including lectures,
    discussion, tests and exams.
  • Compiles, administers, and grades examinations.
  • Participates in Assessment activities by
    submitting data of student learning outcomes in a timely fashion.
  • And all other relevant duties as assigned by the
    Chair.

Experience & Education



You are required to have a have Master’s or Ph.D. degree in
Political Science. (JD to teach only POL 120 courses, MS/MA in Public Administration and MA/MS in History with Politics
emphasis)
