How does one identify and read unconventional attacks by autocratic regimes? \nDr. Ivana Stradner will address these and related questions\, providing insights into the various tools and techniques used by the Russian Federation against NATO countries and beyond. She will draw on her experience and research on Russian activities in Central Europe and the Balkans. \n\n\nAbout the Speaker: \nDr. Ivana Stradner serves as a research fellow with FDD’s Barish Center for Media Integrity. She studies Russia’s security strategies and military doctrines to understand how Russia uses information operations for strategic communication. Her work examines both the psychological and technical aspects of Russian information security. \nIvana also analyzes Russian influence in international organizations; she is currently focusing on the UN Cybercrime Treaty and UN efforts to regulate information security. Ivana has testified before the European Parliament and has briefed various government officials. \nIvana also serves as a special correspondent for KyivPost. Camp will culminate with a ceremonial signing of the bill by our Ms. President. Black Women in Diplomacy & United Nations Headquarters Black History Tour is a one-day program that begins with a classroom lesson that celebrates the contributions of black women in U. S. diplomacy. Students will then visit the United Nations for a UN briefing and the United Nations’ Black History Tour. The following is a description of the United Nations Black History Tour. Recommended for girls ages 9-17. \nThe Black History-themed Tour of the United Nations will grant students a unique look at the Ark of Return\, a permanent memorial in honor of the victims of slavery and the transatlantic slave trade\, located on the United Nations Visitors Plaza. The special tour will also include access to the Security Council Chamber\, the Trusteeship Council Chamber and the General Assembly Hall (meetings permitting). You will learn about the contribution of people of African descent to the work of the United Nations in fields such as peace and security and human rights\, with a special emphasis on decolonization.
