Legislative Research Fair

Government staff who research and draft legislation are invited to this lunchtime research resources fair co-hosted by the UC Student and Policy Center and the California Research Bureau Nexus.

Representatives from the California Policy Lab, California Health Benefits Review Program, the State Library’s California Research Bureau, the Department of Finance, the Legislative Analyst’s Office, and the National Council of State Legislatures will give an overview of the resources and support they can provide to legislative staff who work on researching and drafting legislative bills and positions.

This program includes lunch, Q&A, and networking. RSVP required.

Attendance at this event by a public official will constitute acceptance of a reportable gift from the Regents of the University of California. (Government Code Section 86112.3.) For purposes of reporting, the University of California, UC campuses, and UC medical centers constitute a single reporting entity.
