Houston’s Financial Report 2024: Trends, Takeaways, and Strategies

March 27 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us for a dialogue about the city’s annual financial report.

Houston’s financial future is shaped by the choices we make today, and we invite City of Houston officials, staff, business leaders, researchers, and engaged community members for a deep dive into the city’s finances.

At this conference, we’ll be focusing on Houston’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, highlighting the city’s financial performance over that time frame. It will explore key areas of focus and share strategies to strengthen Houston’s financial trajectory moving forward.

This forum will provide the public with a clear understanding of Houston’s financial status and its impact on the city’s efforts to deliver municipal services and infrastructure improvements. Moreover, it will explore innovative solutions to improve our city’s financial efficiency and strengthen its fiscal future.

This event is co-sponsored by the Baker Institute Center for Tax and Budget Policy and the Greater Houston Partnership. It is free and open to the public, and will take place at the Greater Houston Partnership office.
