Brazil Summit 2025: Energy at a Crossroads

February 4 @ 7:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join Baker Institute and the Brazil-Texas Chamber of Commerce for a conference on Brazil’s current political and economic situation.

As Brazil prepares to take center stage in global forums, such as the G20 and COP30 — the first U.N. climate conference to be held in the Amazon — questions arise about the country’s future trajectory. How will recent political shifts and international engagements shape Brazil’s economic policies, regulatory environment, and energy landscape?

The Baker Institute Center for Energy Studies, in partnership with the Brazil-Texas Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to host a Brazil Summit on Feb. 4, 2025. This conference will explore the implications of the 2024 U.S. elections on Brazil’s outlook,  role in global institutions, and evolving energy sector, including recent progress in energy transition regulations and opportunities for investors and businesses. The event will bring together a distinguished group of participants from Brazil and the U.S., including policymakers, energy leaders, financial experts, academic scholars, think tank advisors, and legal professionals.
